My deep passion for archaeology began in my youth when I actively participated in numerous archaeological excavations. I had the rare privilege of holding some of the most ancient artifacts in my hands. One discovery that left a lasting impression was a Bronze Age female figurine unearthed in a dolmen.

Years later, I met a model whose form perfectly embodied the essence of that ancient image. Inspired by her and drawing on the knowledge I had gained over the years, I created the sculpture Luda. The first bronze cast of Luda is now part of the collection at the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg.

The same form was later reimagined in marble, with onyx inlays, resulting in White Luda. I envision both versions - Luda in bronze and White Luda in marble and onyx - as complementary pieces within a single collection, echoing the enduring beauty of the human form across time and material.
