It was a remarkable night- or rather, a very early morning. Sleep escaped me, stirred by the joy of a recent event that left me restless with inspiration. I drove into the forest and wandered toward a quiet lake.
There, bathed in the soft light before dawn, I witnessed a striking scene: radiant women bathing, playfully casting luminous droplets into the air, unaware of my presence. They had come to celebrate an ancient ritual - an annual custom of night swimming meant to honor the turning of the season. For me, it was an extraordinary gift, a moment of beauty and meaning offered freely by chance.
This tapestry was born from that memory. The deep blue band at the top symbolizes the night - an element the women lift and transform into day through their joyful presence. The male figure below represents the solidness of the shore, grounding the composition. A phallic-shaped tree evokes the theme of fertility. In this quiet yet powerful scene, life triumphs - and a private moment becomes a timeless symbol of renewal and creative energy.
