I grew up surrounded by the mountains and the sea in Abkhazia. I was endlessly drawn to the rhythm of the storm - the rolling waves reminded me of the mountains, and the mountains, in turn, evoked the sea. In their forms and movements, I began to see the graceful contours of the female figure.
This sculpture embodies those early impressions - a fusion of nature’s power and elegance, shaped by memory and emotion. It reflects the deep connection I felt between landscape and form, between the elements and the human presence within them.
